MANAGEMENT TEAM

STEPHEN GRESSETT - CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Stephen Gressett co-founded Armor Energy, LLC in 2015, serves as the company’s Chief Executive Officer, and has 35 years of industry experience in multiple leadership and managerial positions. While at Armor he has led several successful acquisitions including the company’s key asset in the Eagle Ford play in Lee County, Texas. Steve provides executive management of all of Armor Energy’s daily operations including marketing, accounting, HSE, and all technical disciplines. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Nadel and Gussman immediately prior to leading Armor. He also was General Manager of the Mid-Continent Division of Samson Resources for several years and played a key part in Samson’s successful $7.5B sale. Steve has worked internationally for Devon Energy in Argentina and also held several engineering positions with Fina Oil and Chemical and Santa Fe Energy in the Permian Basin, including four years as a Field Superintendent with Fina. Steve started his career in Bakersfield, CA with Texaco after receiving a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University.

RICK TEAGUE - VP EXPLORATION & DEVELOPMENT
Rick Teague, Vice President of Exploration and Development, brings 35 years of industry experience in exploration, development and operations geology. His responsibilities include technical oversight and geoscience evaluation on all exploration, development and A&D projects at Armor Energy. Prior to co-founding Armor, he worked at two privately-owned Tulsa independents, Samson Resources and Nadel and Gussman, holding positions ranging from operations geologist to Granite Wash Asset Team Leader. Rick started his career in 1985 with Union Oil of California in Oklahoma City. In his 20+ years with Unocal, he worked most of the geologic provinces of Oklahoma, and the Illinois, Michigan, Permian and Delaware Basins. He also worked the Makassar Straits, offshore Indonesia, and the Deep-Water Gulf of Mexico for Chevron after their takeover of Unocal. At Armor Energy Rick has worked in the Eagle Ford Trend in Texas and the Mississippian and Woodford formations in the Scoop/Stack plays of Oklahoma. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with Bachelors and Master’s Degrees in Geology and is a long-standing member of the AAPG. He and his wife support Aim High Academy and are active members of The Church at Battle Creek.

JIMMY FOXWORTH - SUPERINTENDENT
Jimmy Foxworth joined Armor Energy in August 2017 as Field Superintendent. Since that time Jimmy has supervised daily production operations for Armor Energy including the completion of over 25 wells and multiple re-fracs. He was employed with Samson Resources for 1988-2017 where he worked with many of the current Armor Energy staff. Starting as Roustabout in East Texas field, Jimmy has held positions of Maintenance Foreman, Production Foreman, and Sr. Production Foreman before being promoted to Field Operations Superintendent in March 2006. Jimmy has vast experience in installing and maintaining various types of surface equipment, location building, new facilities and pipelines during his career and has continued the implementation of the knowledge with Armor Energy. Jimmy graduated from Livingston High School in 1986 and has worked in the oilfield ever since.
BRENDA BACON - CONTROLLER
Brenda Bacon joined Armor Energy as Controller in November 2015. Leading the back-office team, Mrs. Bacon is responsible for the design and execution of all accounting functions and controls and delivery of all accounting reports and tax returns. In addition, she is responsible for treasury, budgeting, payroll, human resources management and insurance management, She was instrumental in navigating the changing landscape during the COVID-19 pandemic including securing Paycheck Protection Loans and Employee Retention Credits. Mrs. Bacon was previously employed with Samson Resources Company from 1998 to 2015 where she filled different accounting roles from Staff Accountant to Joint Interest Accounting Manager. Mrs. Bacon is a Certified Public Accountant and began her career in 1992 at BKD LLP. Her responsibilities at Armor Energy include management of all accounting operations, including production of periodic financial reports and budgets, and design of comprehensive controls. Mrs. Bacon is active in the community where she has served on the Board of Directors for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Green Country Chapter and the Kiefer Public School Foundation. Mrs. Bacon received a B.S.B.A in Accounting in 1991 from Missouri Southern State University.

RON FOSHEE - SENIOR GEOLOGIST
Ron Foshee joined Armor Energy as Senior Geologist in 2015. Ron was previously employed with Nadel & Gussman and Samson Resources Company from 2003 to 2015. At these companies he served as Senior District Geologist working in exploration and development in various Mid-Continent basins. Prior to joining Samson Resources Company he served as Senior Geologist for Southwestern Energy 1994 to 2000 and Oxley Exploration Company 2000 to 2003. At these companies his responsibilities included all aspects of exploration and development geology, with an emphasis on field development and asset management. Ron has extensive training in extensional and compressional tectonic settings, and has drilled both vertical and horizontal wells in many reservoirs in the Mid-Continent as well as Gulf Coast basins. Ron had some experience in Rocky Mountain and Appalachian basins as well. Ron received his B.S. Degree from Stephen F. Austin University in 1978, and his M.S. Degree from the University of Arkansas in 1980.
JOE MILLSPAUGH - LAND MANAGER

Joe Millspaugh joined Armor Energy as Land Manger covering Armor’s Texas assets in June 2017, and adds over 15 years of industry experience. While with Armor, Joe has managed the land/legal team and the business development efforts of the company. His management at Armor includes the acquisition of an additional 16,000 net acres and the development of 21 Armor operated Eagle Ford units. Prior to Armor, Joe spent his early career (2006 – 2017) as a Landman and Senior Landman with Samson Resources Company and Samson Energy, LLC. While with Samson, Joe worked the East Texas, Gulf Coast and Mid-Continent regions where his responsibilities included the negotiation of various agreements, acquisitions, divestitures, title diligence, management and oversight of large, seismic driven projects, preparing locations for multi-rig schedules, and working closely with landowners to ensure any concerns/obligations were met. Joe received his BBA in Finance from the University of Oklahoma. He is a Registered Professional Landman and a member of the American Association of Petroleum Landmen and the Tulsa Association of Petroleum Landmen. Joe and his wife have two children; they are active members of BattleCreek Church and support various ministries including Akouo Missions, tC Egypt, Campus Crusade for Christ and College Golf Fellowship.

BLAKE BLAND - RESERVOIR ENGINEERING MANAGER
Blake Bland joined Armor Energy when it was founded in 2015. His responsibilities include reservoir and economic evaluations on all exploration, development, and A&D projects. He was previously employed by two privately owned Tulsa based companies from 2007 – 2015, Samson Resources and Nadel and Gussman. He began his career working various reservoir, operations, and drilling engineering roles in East Texas, before moving to the Anadarko Basin where he has significant experience in A&D, and development projects across multiple reservoirs including the Granite Wash, Cleveland, Marmaton, Woodford, and Mississippi Lime. Mr. Bland received a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering in 2007 from the University of Oklahoma. He supports She is Safe, Campus Crusade for Christ, and is an active member of Life Church.
